Mr. Geraldi is responsible for deal sourcing in Brazil. In this capacity, he works with forest products companies, focusing on transaction opportunities throughout the region. He also provides technical, analytical and evaluation support for GFP's existing investments in the region. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Geraldi worked for Pöyry Management Consulting as a Principal in their Curitiba office, advising clients on strategic planning and monetization options. Prior to that, he spent eight years with Fibria Wood Pulp, the world's top pulp producer. At Fibria, Fernando held a series of roles in the operational and financial areas, and was most recently involved in the company's forest assets merger and acquisition activities. Mr. Geraldi holds a Forest Engineering degree from Universidade Federal do Parana, an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Sunderland and an MBA from INSEAD.
